Bernie's Book Bank Charity Drive!

Aleckson Insurance is hosting a children’s book drive to benefit Bernie’s Book Bank. We have set a goal to collect 500 books!

This is a great opportunity to do some spring cleaning and pull out any old children's books that are gathering dust around the house. If you are interested we ask that you consider donating new and gently used children’s books (BIRTH- 6TH GRADE reading level) during our book drive. Your donated books will be given new homes with children who need them.

Bernie’s Book Bank, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit, is the leading provider of quality books to at-risk children in the Chicagoland area. Since 2009 they have distributed more than 15.2 million books. Owning quality books is critical to reading-readiness and becoming a proficient reader. Your valuable support for Bernie’s Book Bank enables these children to build a home library of quality books so they can read their way to a better life.

Books can be placed in the collection bins located at our office, 1155 Ensell Rd in Lake Zurich from February 3rd - March 2nd, 9am-5pm daily. (You can also watch for updates on the donation gauge set up on the home page!)
